The dates are October 20-22. So plan ahead and reserve these dates now. In addition to the conference, we intend to have several pre-conference classes, an evening ball, the Legendary Northeast, New England, and now Connecticut, and Canadian Chapters Party, and other networking opportunities and events. The High Tech Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious high tech crimes non-profit organizations in existence today. The HTCIA s primary focus is to encourage, promote, aid and effect the voluntary interchange of data, information, experience, ideas and knowledge about methods, processes, and techniques relating to investigations and security in advanced technologies among practitioners in the area technical investigations. Many of these goals are accomplished by hosting training venues around the world. Past speakers at our trainings have gone on to become prominent thought leaders, innovators, authors, educators, and corporate executives.
To continue with this tradition of excellence, and to remain on the cutting edge of technology we invite you to submit a concept paper on any of the following proposed topics and labs listed below. The list is not all inclusive so please feel free to submit your paper even if it is not listed.

Paper Format
The abstract should be no longer then two pages. APA style is preferred. It must be saved Microsoft Wordİ. Describe the topic and why it is important to the High Tech Community. Please specify whether your presentation is a lecture or lab, and identify what equipment is required. Lab will have a total presentation time of three (3) hours, and lectures will be one and a half (1.5) hours long. Pure sales or product pitch papers will be rejected. However, presenting a concept and using a particular product to demonstrate the concept is acceptable. Deadlines
Submission Deadline: Submission of abstracts, contact information and Bio s are due April 1, 2008. All abstracts are to be submitted electronically via email to: speakers@arcgroupny.com.
Notification of Acceptance: Will be done via email during the month of April and May. Speaker MOU s will be sent once you re abstract has been accepted.
Website Posting Date: Abstracts and Bio s will be posted to the website by Mid-May.
Training Materials Due Date. All Speakers are required to provide either a power point, or PDF s of their lecture or lab no later then June 1, 2008.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement granting use rights of submitted material by the HTCIA.
