Minnesota HTCIA 2008 Conference, April 2-4, 2008
Join us April 2-4, 2008 for 2 1/2 days of instruction focusing on computer investigation issues, tools and techniques. Keynote speakers, Mike Menz, Investigator with Hewlett Packard and Mark Menz, VP M.J. Menz & Associates a Sacramento based computer forensics analysis firm. Mike and Mark Menz have presented nationally on topics related to computer forensics and will be focusing on the “Tips and Tricks” for Computer Forensics. Sessions will be held on Mobile Forensics, Broadband Cards and Security, Microsoft Vista, FTK 2.0, Live Seizure, Netsmarz, Target and Blue Program, a Legal update, Internet Investigations, Health and Wellness. All of our presenters are leaders in the field of high technology crime investigation. This conference is for security managers, law enforcement, County and State attorneys/prosecutors, corporate security investigators and homeland security administrators.
The conference will be held at the Target North Campus in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Costs are $150 for HTCIA members; $180 for non-members.

ASIS-HTCIA 2008 Conference, Training & Exhibits
Date: 5/6/2008 to 5/8/2008 at the South San Francisco Convention Center
Join us from Tuesday, May 06, 2008 through Thursday, May 08, 2008 for 3 days of instruction to better understand and address breaking issues associated with security management, investigations, apprehension and preventative methodologies. This training is for security managers, law enforcement, DA investigators, district attorneys / prosecutors, corporate security investigators and homeland security administrators.
We are excited about this blending of the two major industry groups in the Bay Area, with a potential of over 600 attendees to the training and exhibitions. We hope that this will allow for more people to attend, as they will not have to choose one important industry event over the other.
Registration is Open
Our registration process is currently open and all ASIS and HTCIA members can register now for the early bird rate of $200.00 until March 24, 2008. After March 24, 2008 the rate goes up to $250.00 per person
All non members can register for the early bird rate of $300.00 until March 24, 2008. After March 24, 2008 the rate goes up to $350.00 per person

Ohio Chapter Spring Training Conference
May 12, 2008 through May 14, 2008:
Make plans now to join us on the far east side of Cleveland on May 12 through 14 for our Spring Training Conference. This conference is hosted by the Ohio Chapter of the HTCIA, the same organization that brought you the successful 20th Anniversary HTCIA International Training Conference & Expo in Cleveland in 2006.
Early registration fee is $175.00 if postmarked on or before April 12, 2008.
Late registration fee is $225.00 if postmarked after April 12, 2008.
You will be able to attend training sessions by top presenters from across the country, including a team of SEARCH instructors. In addition to the great learning opportunities, a number of vendors will be present. We are excited by the quality lineup and believe you will be, too. We have timely topics backed by some of the best presenters in the country. Watch for a number of returning instructors from the HTCIA International conference. The scheduled slots have been filled and the schedule will be completed soon.

Most of the sessions will be done twice to give you more options when selecting either lectures or labs. There will be six lab rooms available.
And it's not all lectures and labs, either. The Ohio Chapter will be hosting a hospitality get-together on Monday evening. You will have a chance to relax and network with colleagues new and old.
The conference will be held in Kirtland, Ohio at the Lakeland Community College campus, just off Interstate 90, and only 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.
